Tv model F32650 of a friend had in some occasions a reduction on the picture vertical section. He explained that unpluging the TV for five minutes would bring the Tv to its original view. After some time sodenly the TV stopped funcioning. I know there is a power suply problem but cannot obtain a copy of the said schematic at free lance. CAN YOU GIVE ME SOME ADVISE OR SUBGESTIONS. I greatly apresiate the time taken to read my add.

Re: TV turned off
The fault for all of your TVs' is stuck in standby which would point to a fault on the power supply most likely caused by a diode. If you can check this for yourself otherwise find a competant technician. Hope this helps.

RCA Entertainment Series 32" Plus Gold, GEMSTAR, xbox ready has been in the shop twice so far. Transformer replaced and 6 months later the picture suddenly had horizontal white lines that gradually spaced apart more from top to bottom and it had a gray hue and fuzzy, but I still watched it for 3 months that way. Today I turned it on and about a minute later I heard a loud crackling sound coming from the back and the picture disappeared, screen went black. Is it worth fixing again? Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
It needs a new FLY BACK transformer. That is what you are looking at. The origionals are not made for the set any longer but insist on having a generic on installed by a local TV shop. I just put one into a RCA 31" and it works nice. Don't throw away the TV. Get it fixed. MAKE SURE YOU INSIST THEY USE THE GENERIC ONE! THEY DO WORK!
