Check the "network settings" and make sure your set to auto or something similar. you dont say who your provider is but is sounds like your not on your "home' network, that is your service providers network.

Limited service and No space for text !

In 2008 most or all analog cellphones will be useless as the comm industry is switching all cellphone use to digital. this follows through with the tv industry as they are also switching over to digital. Roger's comm in canada is about the only analog carrier.

My iphone 5 will not recieve texts from a nokia 1650

First, try resetting the phone, press the Home button and Power button simultaneously until the screen goes blank. If you don't see the Apple logo, press the power button to turn the phone on. Have your friend try texting you. If it still doesn't receive the text, try removing the SIM card and reinserting it. Try another test. One last measure is to go into Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

If none of these work, you will have to contact your carrier as SMS is a carrier specific service.

I have the Samsung Galaxy S (I900) for about two weeks now and never had any problems with it. Untill yesterday I was able to send and recieve both calls and texts, but now my phone is 'stuck' on emergency...

hi,

Did you drop your phone recently?
Does your unit has signal bars on it?
If none, then probably there is a hardware problem on the signal section of your unit.

Here's what you try to can do. Try removing your SIM card and place it again securely on the SIM slot.
Try also restoring to factory settings.

Hope that solves your problem.

if not, then you need your unit be repaired to service center or repair shop. complicated components inside and you might do more damage to your phone.

If phone is still in warranty, then your are welcome to return your unit to the dealer or service provider. don't attempt to open it cause that forfeit your warranty.

Hope I help you...
Don't forget to rate me. Thanks...

Best regards,
John

suggestions:
  • try inserting a new SIMcard of similar network, and if this work with your phone, secure a good signal.. then try sending a simple message.. then recieving a message..
  • try inserting a new SIMcard of different network, and if this work with your phone, secure a good signal.. then try sending a simple message.. then recieving a message..
  • if both/either this doesn't work, try getting back your original phone settings...
  • still doesnt work? have your phone serviced by a qualified cellphone technician..

I WOULD LIKE TO RETRIEVE DELETED INFORMATION NO MY HUSBANDS CELL PHONE SUCH AS TEXT MESSAGES SENT AND RECIEVED

There is software you can buy to do this task

http://www.datadoctor.in/data-recovery-software/sim-card-data-recovery-software.html
This link provides you with a software and explains what it does and compatibility. You will need a USB cable to hook up the phone to the computer.
http://www.driverecovery.in/drive-recovery/sim-card-data-recovery.asp
This software is $69

The information is on the SIM card in the phone. (internal phone memory card)

You can also google in "Recover Deleted text messages"
There is alot of software out there.

Good Luck
