Usually means RAM not detected. Check your ram memory. make sure the ram is seated properly or replace with new ram.

I turned on my aspire x3200 the fans make a loud noise but nothing appears on the monitor at all and there is no beeps!

No beeps mean ram fault.

NB = Ensure power is disconnected from PC

Pull cover off and remove / replace ram / retry.

If still no go try removing ram sticks so that there is just one there. If only one any way borrow a stick from anywhere and try.

Ensure all fans are working also.

Acer travelmate 2480 does not turn on.

the metal rod is an internal part to the coaxial power coupling, which is normally soldered to the main board in the computer. Chances are you are going to be taking it in for repair. Good Luck!

LAPTOP WONT BOOT UP, KEEPS BEEPING(ALARM)ACER TRAVELMATE 2200/2700

If the beeping is constant, one second beep followed by half a second pause and another one second beep, it's saying that the RAM installed isn't recognized at all. A signal like that is saying that there is no memory at all. Open the memory compartment, gently release the memory, lift it out and put it back in again making sure that it's firmly seated. If it still gives that problem, try a single stick, it may or may not work with one stick, and if it does at least you know which stick is faulty.

If it only has one stick, you will need to replace it if re-seating it doesn't solve the problem
