I have a frigidaire FEF366DC that gives me fault code 10 almost every time I try to use the oven. Help please

Sir, Same problem F-10 code on a Frigadaire electric stove top. This only happens when I use the oven. Drives me crazy. Could it be the oven sensor, is this the RTD Sensor?

You need to check or replace the oven temp probe its the gold looking rod that sticks out in the oven check the connectors under the back panel and plug and unplug it from the control board in case there is any Resistance on back of the range you should find a tech sheet will give you more specifics and if you have an ohm meter do the rtd test on the sheet

F2 E0 is certainly a the error for a stuck key on the pad. Did you buy a new? If so you need to return it and have it replaced. Here is the part to order.

All parts come with a 365 day, any part, any reason return policy.

Oven will not turn on. Kenmoore Model # 66592142300

That is the control board and sensor error code. One or both of those items is malfunctioning. A new sensor is about $5-10 and a new board is around $150-300. You'll need a volt meter to check the functionality of the sensor and i can walk you through it if you like.

Preheating Oven

Cold Stove, you may not be able to. The issue here is that oven manufactures put on their units a fast preheat. However it isn't possible to preheat an oven for 7 to 9 minutes and bake short time bake items properly. Also the oven sensor will respond faster than the absorbation rate of the sheet metal in the oven liner. To preheat an oven properly takes 15 to 20 minutes before putting in the food. I see this will a lot of current ovens. Sounds like a normal format of the control.

Preheat taking long time

If your oven has the hidden bake element then it is probably working properly. A standard oven with an exposed bake element will usually take about 12-15 minutes to preheat. The hidden element models take a little longer but they usually heat a little more evenly.
