Tip

Videos and Pictures on GPX

I have been answering peoples questions individually for while and decided that writing a tip would be easier. :D

Pictures
Plug in your MP3 Player. Open MY COMPUTER, your MP3 player will show up in the scroll on the left side of the screen. Go into your documents to select an image and simply drag and drop on top of the folder called ALBUMS under the GPX. This will put images into an album on the player.

To See the images once on your MP3 player,
1. Turn on the MP3
2. Hold MODE BUTTON
3. press up or down until you select PICTURE
Your images will appear as a list.

I find that .gif images and .jpg images work the best.

While learning to download cds in my computer to

are your music and pictures all jumbled together on your player? if it is, you will need to select all the files at once and then subtract the files that you want off your computer - in this case, your pictures.

select all of your files by holding down the mouse button, and without letting go, drag the mouse until all of the files are selected. selected files will be highlighted in blue. now release the mouse - everything should still be selected. locate the Ctrl key on your keyboard. now hold down this key, and without releasing it, click one at a time on all of your music files. the music files will not have a highlight on them now. now, right click on your blue highlighted files until you get a list, and select the word Delete. this will delete your pictures and not your music.

i hope this helps!

Got a coby mp705 for our 13 year old for christmas, and she wants to remove pictures from it.

Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio Books, etc. from MP3 Player
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer" When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there. Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible. Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete" Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want. NOTE: Be careful and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player. Good Luck, I hope this helps Please rate me, Thank You
