Have you tried changing the power cord? Has it been damaged or fried?Has the internal onboard fuse blown?check the lamp and dust filter and that everything looks how it should and clean and normal.
If your Remote desn't work then first check your battery and then try it again. After trying again if same thing happen then changes it and place new battery.
When you connect a source to the projector, the unit will match the resolution input to it. As long as you don't exceed the max resolution, which is considerable, the unit will display it. Go into the menu and select auto-image to have the projector give you the best quality image. Hope I helped you!---Rick
That S-video cable...if it is longer than 1 meter you will get a poor picture. Get an component cable and connect your players thru that, that will improve thepicture 1000 times, belive me

I have the same projector and after I thought it is faulty, I finally solved the problem by putting a signal on the input. With out the signal the unit will only switch the bulb on and the menu wont be available.
