Question about Fuji FinePix S5200 / S5600 Digital Camera
Every time I install the driver and sofware onto xp home edition and I plug in my camra to upload the pics it says that xp doesn't recognize the camra of it has malfuntioned but I know it works if it didn't then it wouldn't take pics right?.
I have also been told that xp home doesn't recognize a lot of stuff that xp pro would is this true and if so is there a patch or somthing I can do to stop racking my head over it coouse I need the pics
I don't think XP pro vs XP home would make a difference here. Did your camera come with a driver disk? You might need to install some software for your computer to recognize the camera.
Another easier way is to just get a card reader. I picked one up for about 15 bucks and it reads every kind of card imaginable. I use Google's Picasa software (www.picasa.com) on Windows, it recognizes when a memory card has been plugged in and goes right to the screen where you can start importing your pics.
