I got a blackberry storm as a gift and before I could activate it someone stole it out of the boX! I still have the packaging which has serial number, and IEMI number as well as the remains of an International SIM card that came with it. Is there any way to track it down?

Realistically, no. As it's a gift you won't even have proof of ownership so cannot ask the network to bar the handset, and handset barring usually requires a police crime report number. In many countries, handset barring is not practically possible as it will not prevent use of the handset on other networks or in other countries.

Someone stole my blackberry

If your mobile phone is lost or stolen you can inform your cell phone provider with your IMEI number. Your cell phone provider can then put the serial number on a shared database. This list stops this particular phone from registering on any network and will be useless for anyone even if the mobile phone's SIM card is changed.

Some one stole my blackberry how an i find its a storm

Unless you have a very co-operative thief who will answer the phone and tell you where the phone is, then you have no chance at all.

The police and security services in some countries do have the ability to track an active 3g phone, but it's not precise enough to give details of an exact address nor who's pocket the phone is in. Tracking is very expensive and resource intensive and would not usually be used to attempt recovery of a stolen phone. The SatNav on your phone will be no use in tracking the location either as SatNav is a one-way process: no information is re-broadcast to the Sat-Nav satellites to state where any devices are located.

Some optional user applications can be used to remotely track the phone, but they have to have been installed and activated and are still too imprecise to identify the location precisely enough to allow arrest or searches to be made. If the phone is switched off, or if the SIM has been changed then the service will not work at all. If the phone had a password and the thief has exceeded the password attempt limit, then the phone will have deleted all user data including the user-installed applications.

Blackberry storm phone not compatible with MAC computer.

There is a download for pocket mac on Blackberries website. this should work. After installing the initial one, there is a patch The patch address is listed below.

if you are still experiencing issues, please contact Verizon Wireless support while using a different phone than your storm. The support team should be able to walk you through getting your equipment to sync. The storm should be compatible with a Mac.
Thanks.

BlackBerry Storm -Sim card not accepted by the mobile

This is because many Blackberry Storms included the Vodaphone SIM card for when you are traveling abroad. Since you do not need it for using the phone in the US, and the SIM has not been activated for international use, you can remove it. The error message will not hinder the performance of the storm, but the message is rather annoying. It is located in the battery compartment, just below the battery and to the left of the memory card slot. You will need to remove the battery in order to remove the SIM card. Keep it in a safe place in case you ever need to activate the phone for international use.
