It could be from the condenser coils are dirty, bad ventilation,not installed correctly,broken or dirty seals for the gaskets, food storage that is not organized.Or the internal parts are broken.Yes it could be possible that your fridge had quit working and you may need to buy a new one.
Try replacing the circulating fan first. If it's not turning, it's more than likely bad. However, the fan might not be your only problem. The problem may lie with the icemaker. The icemaker is essentially the brain of the unit. It tells when to cool, when to defrost and when to maintain temp. Your icemaker may be stuck in defrost mode.
Maybe be defrost problem. If there is ice build up in back of freezer then its not defrosting and blocking air flow. also made sure fan is working on inside and outside coils. May need to call in a tech if any of the 3 problems are present. can also be freon, compressor or control problem.
