My refigerator will not chill below 48 degrees. The freezer works fine. The coils have been cleaned and vacuumed.

May be you have a defrost problem. check the freezer. for over frosty evaporator. timer. defrost terminator and maybe defrost heater

Try replacing the circulating fan first. If it's not turning, it's more than likely bad. However, the fan might not be your only problem. The problem may lie with the icemaker. The icemaker is essentially the brain of the unit. It tells when to cool, when to defrost and when to maintain temp. Your icemaker may be stuck in defrost mode.

sounds like your fan (in the freezer) has quit working. This fan is supposed to send cold air from the freezer to the refrigerator.

check and see if it's running.

The temperature won't go down below 48 degrees

Maybe be defrost problem. If there is ice build up in back of freezer then its not defrosting and blocking air flow. also made sure fan is working on inside and outside coils. May need to call in a tech if any of the 3 problems are present. can also be freon, compressor or control problem.
