You may have short in convergence circuit but this is a job for experienced tech after replacing ic's need to get in to settings and and is kind of complicated

Can't find 2A 125v fuse replacement for on-off will 250v be OK?

There is no difference between a 125v and 250v fuse. The most important thing is the 2Amp. This fuse is probably the line fuse and could be the only trouble and may have blow with a line surge. Make sure the 2A you use is a Fast Blow Type. If it does blow again you most likely have a internal power supply failure.

Panasonic ct-32sl13g blowing fuse by power supply

You will need to remove the back of the TV. Don't worry, it's not that bad.

There are 4 screws across the top, one on each side, one right next to where the power cord goes into the back of the case, and the two more by all of the video connections **These are the most important to remove because they attach the main board to the back of the case.

Once you have remove the screws then the entire back of the set will slide off. If you look where the power cord attaches to the board you will see a small fuse. This is a 6.3 Amp 125 volt fuse. You can replace it with a 6.3 Amp 250 volt fuse from your local Radio Shack. A four pack costs between $3 and $5.

Make sure that you check that it works before putting it all back together. Check for any loose connection cables while you're back there. I found a few when I did this.

Good luck!

This condition, may be produced by defective components (Q506, Q507). you can remove those transistor, replace the fuses, power-on and wait for relays click. if the fuses not blown again, them replace both transistor.

No Power on rt2580

According the parts list on the model unit your fuse is suppose to be F101,FUSE 6A 125V. Is it possible that you have an undersized fuse?

I don't believe that one amp differents would cause your unit to blow like that but, you never know. More than likely you have a bad component in the power supply or power amp.

Then again, with an average replacement cost of $150 online; it not worth getting too deep into the repairs.

Power problem on Pioneer Pro-700HD

The failure is not on the power supply but the convergence amplifiers STK ICs have the 24 volts shorted.
If that fuse is blowing, de-solder the convergence ICs and put a new fuse to power up the TV; you should see distorted video when the TV powers up and the fuse should not blow.
The service manual migth not help much in this case since the failure is easy to pin point.

Good Luck.

it may be a little late for your answer, but it takes a 5A 125V fuse commonly found in christmas lighting...Ace Hardware has them for a bout $1.50 for two....

the problem is this, something caused your fuse to blow...so if yours is like mine, you'll blow a fuse everytime you put one in because there's a short in the circuitry...which means either get a degree in electrical engineering, or buy a new tv.

Toshiba 50H81 TAC0151 Blowing Fuses, I Need schematic

Well without the schematic, knowing Toshiba they have alot of convergence problems, so see if the fuse blown in the convergence area, if you you may have to replace convergence amps. These are the big STK's. Most of the time there was a color problem with set before going out. If no problem with this on your set then look in the HV area Hor. and Ver. area. Hope this helps!

Not turning ON, fuse blows.

In most cases, it is either a shorted component in the power supply or a shorted horizontal output transistor. It will take experienced electronic troubleshooting to fix it. TVs have lethal voltages (both 110V and 25,000V kind) and improper repair can result in shock, injury, or the emission of X-rays by the TV! Be safe and either replace the set or have a shop work on it for you. I'm a tech with over 25 years of experience, by the way. I appreciate honest rating of this reply if you find it helpful.
