I want to mount my frontloading clothes washer on a pedistal, but it is too heavy to work with. I would like to remove the counter weigh so that I can lift it more easily. How do I remove the front cover without damaging it? Is it difficult to remove and replace the rubber collar?

I move all the clothes around in the washer, leaving the center exposed. Sometimes it's just that a heavy towel or sweater has weighed one side down.

There should be 2 screws at the rear of the top section. Remove those screws and pull the top backward and it should come off.

I need pedsteal brackets for my Lg washer

the side brackets/screws/manual should've been included. some of the new pedistals no longer use side brackets though. contact lg with pedistal model# located in drawer and research further.

I have a Whirlpool front load washer wfw8400tw02. I have had 2 service calls to checkout the out of balance condition. The first tech moved a drain hose inside the machine. The second one tried leveling...

being level is not quite as important as being solid on floor or on solid floor..if on a pedistal remove bottom drawer and be sure all mounting screws are tight ..with drawer adj all legs up until they are up tobottom of pedistal ck washer by trying to rock if movement detected adj FRONT feet only as much as needed to reduce motion ..same applies without pedistal if is a noise issue more than an unbalance issue suspect shocks supporting tub try removing bottom panel and being careful allow unit to run and try with one hand to isolate which shock..changed 1 friday

Pedistal

Make sure the dryer is mounted high enough for you to open the lid and it is not too high that you can't get clothes in & out. Apart from that enjoy the extra space :)
