Question about Toshiba Satellite A100-S8111TD Notebook
If you have win XP or equivalent, try using the default 56k modem driver by doing this...
...from DEVICE MANAGER...
double click modem and select the DRIVER tab, then select INSTALL FROM A LIST OR SPECIFIC LOCATION... then select DON'T SEARCH, I WILL CHOOSE THE DRIVER... then find the 56k default driver. It may not have all the bells and whistles, but it should get you started. Later, someday when the world is safer, you can find the driver specific to your modem.
ps...the above can be done on WIN 98, ME, 2000, NT, XP and up.
