The display on my Lenovo Ideapad S10e has become distorted. The computer operates perfectly fine, but there is a haze of tiny, white, semi-transparent, horizontal lines onscreen. They are organized into about five columns. I can see a video through the lines (kind of like having a slightly blurry TV screen) but can't read type very well. When I take a screenshot of my desktop, the resulting picture looks perfect (no lines). I took it to four repair shops this evening and heard it could be anything from a faulty video card to a little cable connection problem to a broken LCD, but none would investigate without a minimum repair charge upfront. I don't want to pay $100 just to find out I need a fix that isn't worth the cost, and my warranty expired three weeks ago...Thanks very much.
Hi! They are right. Its a video card issue and replacement of the ribbon connector going to the lcd. If you want you can do this by yourself. You just have to buy the necessary parts. This may just require time and patience but will surely save you a lot. Hope this helps and have a good one!

I would like to apologize, but this is a known issue with most Lenovo computers. Most of them have (Intel) integrated graphics. And the issue is with the Intel graphics driver.
Try to uninstall and re-install the graphics driver. If the problem occur, then either of the following needs to be replaced:
Graphics card
Motherboard
LCD panel.
I'm really sorry, but I think I have to inform you about it.
I hope that re-installing the graphics driver fix the problem.
Thank you and good luck!
