If it has rear drum brakes they might just need adjusted but alot of times on the abs sensors on the front brakes which the abs sensor ring is on the cv axles and if the ring or the sensor which has a wire going to it and its right above the sensor gets any debris in there it could trip the light and make it come on so spray like brake clean on both front sensor rings and the bottom side of the sensors.

I replaced the caliber guide pins on a 2009 toyota corolla and now ABS light stays on.

hi.... you may have disturbed the wiring that goes to the abs sensor
on the back of your brake plate. there is one on each wheel. and the cable goes from the sensor into your boot to a connector you may have disturbed this. its behind the panels on the wheel arch. good luck.

It requires special tools and training to diagnose the ABS system. It is not something that really can be done at home.

Toyota corolla ae110 brakes binding

Please DO NOT drive in with the vehicle in this condition!!!!
What you have going on is that the brake caliper (part that holds your brake pads) is bad and sticking. Just remove it, get a NEW one from any chain autoparts store, and replace it. You will have to get a new set of pads as well,as due to the binding, the ones on there now are trashed.

Again,PLEASE do NOT drive in this condition as yours and your fellow drivers ,as well as your passengers safety is at stake.

2003 Windstar brake light and abs light stay illuminated

I have had this scenario many times. It is usually one of two things...

1) Brakes are worn and need to be replaced (front pads/rotors)

2) One ore more of the ABS sensors are not reading correctly. This could be either a hub & bearing that need replacing, or just a sensor. It would need to be scanned and road tested to pinpoint the problem.

Desh meter lights

Regarding the corolla abs light, you need to get your local dealer to diagnose the fault, it is possible a wheel sensor giving a faulty reading but while the abs light remains on you have no abs. Worth getting it looked at promptly
