There are two Power MOSFET's being used.
The Fairchild Semiconductor Industries - FDS6679 - Power MOSFET, and the Alpha & Omega Semiconductor LTD - AO4407 Power MOSFET.

Both of these P.MOSFET's are Obsolete. However there are cross reference examples given. Let's look at two of these examples, and also note the cost,

I have an HP dv6000 laptop computer 2005 model which when I turn it on the lights on the key board are on but the screen is black. I have already tried taking the battery out holding the power botton for...

If your display is not coming then try the below steps to resolve it.
  1. Unplug your system to avoid power shocks
  2. Open the cabinet and look for RAM on the mother board.
  3. Take that RAM out of the slot and clean it with "IP".This is a type of chemical and let it dry.If you are not having IP then clean it with an ordinary "Eraser"
  4. Then put it in the slot very carefully.
  5. Plug the power and see that display is there or not ,if not then again turn off the power and take the RAM out
  6. Put it in the other slot and try again.
  7. If you are successful then close the cabinet.
  8. If you are not getting display then try changing Ram.
  9. Also check the on board video card.
Thanks
Have a great day

Turn Laptop on. It appears to boot, lights on etc... After a while, the computer shuts down and then tries to re-boot. This cycle repeats every 15 seconds until the computer is powered down. Works the same...

This mostly happens when you take a hard drive from another pc/laptop and put it another one of a different brand and boot it up, you get that same effect. If you did not do that, the first thing ill suggest you do is try reinstalling the Operating System. Or try to restore to an earlier state.

When i shut my laptop the tv i use as my monitor goes blank.

Right click the power icon in the system tray (should look like a little plug with a lightning bolt on it.)  Click on "adjust power properties."  Click on the "advanced" tab, then where it says, "When I close the lid of my portable computer," select "Do Nothing."

I have a crappy HP pavillion dv6000 laptop, after working fine on shutdown last night, i turned on this morning and it would not boot up. the lights on the volume bar lit up, flashed, and went off...thats...

It's acting like the juice is drained in the battery. Are you sure it's charged? Do you have a spare battery you can swap out?

Some of them come with two. I actually have the same series laptop (a Pavilion dv6258se, 6000 series), and they can be a little flaky.

I also had an issue where my HP power cable (that connects the laptop to the wall outlet) was faulty, and needed to be replaced, because it stopped charging the battery. I ended up purchasing a generic replacement power cable on eBay.

No sound in speakers

Sometimes the speaker internally disables itself when another audio device is connected (i.e. headphones or external speakers) and need to be reenabled from Control Panel. Try this.
