Probably the convergence board.

First, try resetting the TV by unplugging it for 30 seconds and replugging it.

Does the problem exist on both cable/sat and an external source like a dvd player/vcr?

Go to www.usasupport.philips.com and enter 60pp9200 as your model number - click on the link for the "Quick Start" Guide - read p 8 on manual convergence - if the manual convergence fails, then your convergence board is bad.

Phillips hd tv. model # 46pp9302/17f We lost

It is possible that your tuner module has some dry solder/weak joints that is causing the fault. Open as before and look into the board very carefully to see if there is any weak spot. Use a good solderring iron to touch up all the suspect areas but be very careful and do not try this if not familiar to solder as it might turn serious. Hence you can ask an electronic technician to check on this and solder up the chroma/processing stages and reset. If this does not solve the issue , the fault could be failure of the concerned IC. Confirm and replace carefully. Hope you get this right.Good day

Phillip TV show aging on screen

Your screen may need degaussing. The symptoms are colored blotches, usually around the edges of the screen. This is caused by magnetism in the screen itself . If this is the case a repair person can use a tool called a degaussing wand to remove the magnetism and fix the picture. Some TVs have the ability to do this themselves, it depends on the brand and model

Phillips DLP 50 inch has no color great black and white picture

There is no color chip. What it does have is called a motor driven color wheel. The problem is that the color wheel is no longer spinning to produce color. Replace the color wheel and you should be fine.

My rear projection television looks like it is 3D

replace the lamps and then run the synch routine from the main menu. unfortunitly with the expense of the lamps and the low price to replace projection tvs it might not be worthwhile to fix but just replace.

Is my tv digital compatible or not

https://www.dtv2009.gov/FAQ.aspx What you need to know is whether your TV set has something called a “digital tuner” already built in. If it does, your TV set will work after February 17, 2009. The best way to determine whether your TV set has a digital tuner built in is to consult your owner’s manual. If that’s not possible, you may be able to look up information about your TV set on the manufacturer’s website. Or, you can take an up-close look at your TV set. In any case, you’re trying to find out if your set has an input connection labeled “digital input” or “ATSC” (for Advanced Television Systems Committee, which is the DTV format).

Here are some general guidelines that may help:

TV set made before 1998 was a traditional “analog” set. If you bought a big-screen, projection TV between 1998 and 2004, it may have a built-in digital tuner inside. But chances aren’t great. Only a limited percentage of projection TV sets (and generally only those 42 inches in diameter or larger) included digital tuners before 2004.

If you purchased a new TV set since 2004, your chances of having a built-in digital tuner improve dramatically. Starting in 2004, many of the TV sets sold at popular electronics stores feature digital tuners that will work after February 17, 2009. But it’s not a sure thing. Even some of the newer TV sets are purely display monitors that lack the internal circuitry needed to pick up digital broadcasts. Usually these sets have been advertised as “HD-ready” or “HDTV monitor” sets. That means they can display digital and high-definition signals, but they need help getting those signals in the first place. You’ll still need a special converter or a cable TV connection. Hope this info above helps. Also, check your manual, and if you don't have it some manufacturers, (Philips does for some models) offer the manual on their websites.

Tv wont come on

Hi, unplug your system from the wall then open the case and use a torch to see inside of the machine. locate your video card and examine the capacitors, these are the round things with silver tops on them. If any of them have a raised or bulged top or have leaked out the bottom then the lightning has over heated them. the only solution is to then replace the card. Goodluck. msityman
