My machine froze/seized up while I was sewing. Does it need a new motor?

Not necessarily unless you have burnt it out trying to make it go.
Its most likely clogged with cotton fibres underneath the needle plate and the bobbin. Give it a good clean out.

7467S sewing machine beeps four time and won't let me sew

Hi! Probably too late to help the original asker, but I have this same machine and was having the exact same problem. 4 beep error message, but mine would not sew at all. Found this question through a google search, but no answer. But I figured it out! I had left the buttonhole lever down!! (Facepalm) I hope this is helpful to future googlers with a similar problem.

I have lost my sewing machine bobbin case

Hi, little ducke,

Can't do much sewing without a bobbin case!

I've had a difficult time finding information on your particular model. The best website I could find has pictures of the few different styles of bobbin case in Janome machines. I think if you look at the pics, you'ld be able to pick out the one for you.  Here's the website: http://sewingstyle.com/Janome-Sewing-Bobbin-Cases.html

I hope this helps. If it does, please place a vote or comment for me. Thanks,

My Kenmore sewing machine timing has gotten off. I am sewing a big upholstery project and it starting bunching thread from the bobbin. The thread is so heavy that I had to put some pressure just to get...

Hello

Disassemble your bobbin case which is realy quite easy, clean thoroughly with a brush and air, paying particular attention to any rust that may have formed, and any thread that may have weazeled it's way into small but very incremental areas of your case.

Make sure your needle is not in backwards. The rounded side should be on the outside

. If threading is correct and your tension is properly adjusted , then check the hook for scratches. If you have ever hit the hook with a needle, it will be scarred and will catch the thread every time the upper thread passes around the bobbin case. the hook is the sharp point on the shuttle that holds the bobbin case. If it is scratched, polish it smooth with VERY fine sand paper

Make sure that your thread arm that rises and falls, constantly having tension running through it and that it is in fact staying in place.

Alternate between the metal and plastic bobbins - sometimes the plastic bobbins tend to chip

Machine will only sew in reverse

Open the bottom of the machine. Ther is a rod running from one end to the other. It needs to be loosened and turned 180 degrees. You may have to retime the machine when you are done.

I came across this vacuum and it looks really good but have been

Check out www.epinions.com to read up on the latest of vacuums. As a UK citizen we don't have that many Westinghouse vacuums - past models such as the Twister brand name have been Sanyo vacuums rebadged with Westinghouse name on it.
Dyson are on their own when it comes to cyclonic vacuums - no other brand have 100% suction all of the time - without having to clean filters - Dyson patented their own system right when they first started and took Amcar / Fantom to court because of infringement and copywrite. This is probably one of the reasons to why Fantom went bust.

If you are going to junk your Westinghouse WT1600 I need a part!

I have the whole vaccume cleaner and charger in very good condition. You can have it all just pick it up or pay for the shipping . it is FREE . The catch is you have to take the whole machine and charger. This could be a good thing as you may need parts in the future.
