Question about Cameras

I have a picture frame model #9FF2CME. I have followed the instructions for how to install into an iMac, with no luck. iMac is new with leopard and 10.5. I get a message that says to not... disconnect while you are transferring pictures. Problem is, I can not move beyond this message. Help ..... and thank you. John Beeler

first solution appears to be for a PC, not an iMac.

it suggested that I purchase something.. can we try again with suggestions for an iMac 10.5, leopard.

    Thanks

  • thebeelers Mar 23, 2008

Still not working. THIS IS FOR AN iMAC 10.5 WITH LEOPARD.
Once I connect to the computer it get this message on the frame. ...Connected...Will return to normal operation after disconnection. Do not unconnect photo frame when copying or transferring photo berween PC and photo frame.

I am trying to do this with an iMAC..

Thanks for your assistance. What do I do now?
Frame will not change from the above message.

I have imac. and i want to change his operating

Yes it is very easy to do as you are running a Mac with Intel Processor. You have Mac OSx Leopard with updates 1,2, & 3. To upgrade to Mac OSx Snow Leopard you must buy the upgrade. Go here: http://www.apple.com/macosx/ On the top right click (Buy Now) You will have to pay $29 which is a bargain. Once you get the upgrade on CD simply follow the directions for the simple upgrade. I did the same thing when Snow Leopard came out. It is well worth the $29.

Epson r320 printer w/ no advance settings when linked w/ new IMAC

I had the same problem when installing my Epson R300 onto my new iMac (Snow Leopard). The first install used the newest online driver from Epson. The printer symptoms were exactly like yours. Then I installed the Apple driver updates. It was seamless and now the printer settings can be accessed. Perhaps if you uninstalled (read about that on the Epson site first) and then downloaded the new factory driver, followed by the Apple update which will further update files, you might have some luck. Just a guess on my part. Best wishes.

Not reading all photos on the thumbdrive.

From my research I see this device only supports JPEG/JPG formatted pictures. Please ensure that all pictures you wish to display are this format. You can convert the file format using MS Paint or any of your favorite picture editing programs.

Good Luck!

I have upgrades to Snow Leopard on my iMac and cannot access the printer commands to cheque the printer heads, and ink levels.

You can find useful information on site? http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/SupportSnowLeopard.jsp Mac OS X Snow Leopard Support Contact Support rightmenudottedline.gif snow_leopard_logo_sm2.jpg Welcome to Mac OS X Snow Leopard v10.6 support for Epson products. Here you can find out how to get drivers and other Epson software for your Epson product that work with Mac OS X Snow Leopard v10.6.
Check your Epson product CD to see if it already contains Macintosh OS X 10.6 drivers. If the CD indicates support for Macintosh OS X 10.6, follow the instructions that came with your Epson product to install your drivers and other software.

20" iMac Boot

Ar this is a regular problem i get when people try to install Windows XP or Linux on Boot camp e.t.c.
What's happened is Linux has Tampered with the boot up files and now it won't be able to boot into Linux or Leopard.
What you need to do is insert you Leopard Install disk that came with you iMac Into the Disk Drive, the disk/disks are grey and may be two CDs or 1 DVD.
Restart the iMac and the moment you hear the chimes go off when it boots up, Hold down C on the keyboard. The boot disk for leopard will then boot up,
From here follow the instructions and if your lucky you may be able to upgrade, if not, go through the system utility and repair disk permissions e.t.c.
If nothing works, You will have to do a clean install,
But you may be able to recover a thew images and mp3 files with a great bit of software i like to use, http://www.prosofteng.com/products/data_rescue.php
You do have to pay for it, and you will need to install it on macbook e.t.c. if you have one in order for it to work If your confused there is a number of guides out there on that website or on google
Hope i have been of any help
Regards

My imac 0s 10.5.7 goes blank and restarts mid work. I thought maybe a mouse problem so took off the wireless and put on the one that came with the imac. That didn't solve the problem.

It sounds like either a hardware problem that has been shown up when you installed Leopard, or your Leopard install hasn't gone smoothly.
IS it a new install?
