Following a flat battery, my cd player won't work.

Following a flat battery, my JVC cd player won't work, although the radio still works. Someone told me I need the code? Haven't got the code, as I can't find the booklet that came with it. It's pink, and about a year and a half old. Help!

You dont need a code if your radio is working but your cd isnt. You just need to reset the cd player by finding a little small indent on the face and push it in with a sharp pen, pencil or paper clip. Some reset buttons are also found when you remove the face of the radio. You will notice it when you see a little small round hole. Push it in for at least 2 or 3 secs

The remote for my radio/cd player won't work any longAny suggestions? The model is: jWIN JXCD3250 Classic Style CD/AM/FM

Remove the batteries, clean the battery terminals with rubbing alcohol and Q-Tips and replace the batteries with new ones, if no! I would suggest you have someone look at it, usually find bad solder connections that need touch up.

Replaced the battery in the car but now unit seems dead although power to inline fuse is OK. KD G386/385 Has it got an internal fuse ?

It might be a good idea to check all of the fuses in the car. The radio requires two power sources in order to work properly.

Have a 1996 Toyota Camery. Installed a KDG140 JVC stereo/CD player but the stereo won't work. CD player works great.

If "stereo won't work" refers to you not being able to get radio stations; try your antenna connection behind the radio. The vehicle may also have a power antenna connection(blue wire at the stereo).

My JVC cd player, plus Mini disc, and radio. CD will not play

Thank you for your email. The problem must have been dust. I kept putting the cleaning disc in for quite a number of times. Thankfully the problem was simple and it is playing super.

Kind regards to all.

CD,s will not play

Read the Manual on Page 2 or get it from:
http://de.jvc-service.net/public/document.cfm?prog=InstrBook.cfm&Model=KD-G321

Just make a reset with a pen or something else.
This should solve the problem.

Best regards

JVC car radio/cd player wont switch on

As a sanity check run a temporary wire directly from the battery positive to the radio. Twist the red and yellow wires together and connect it to the wire from the battery. If this works either your red or yellow wire connection under the dash or to the harness is not hot like you think. Yellow usually goes to a constant 12 volt source (to keep radio memory) and the red wire to 12volts when the ignition is on. In some radios this is reversed. The test I mentioned will determin if the problem is in the wiring or the radio.

Cd player opens when turned on and will not function

JVC recommends leaving the unit unplugged for 30 minutes to reseet the system - I'm trying that now, and will keep you posted!
