Asus A620BT streaming MP3's

By Phoebe - usenet poster

My friend is trying to stream MP3's over BlueTooth from his desktop to his
PDA but Windows Media Player is giving jerky playback. I tried the same
using my iPAQ 2210 over the same BlueTooth link and it worked perfectly so
the problem would appear to be with his A620BT. The data transfer rate seems
to be too low looking at status monitor and I note that Asus have added some
kind of CPU clocker that drops the speed when it is doing nothing. Could
this be at fault?

Yes you can see and be seen by a network just like if you were cabled into
it as long as you set up the appropriate services for BlueTooth and have
valid accounts etc.

So it means I can use a bluetooth adapter (like bilionton 100m) to browse
the network. Can anybody in the network se my pda, or only my host PC?

I think I must buy this bluetooth adapter if it's works that way.

TIA

We are running Windows Mobile 2003 and use the map drive function of Resco
File Explorer 4.2 via a BlueTooth connection. This would also work via a
802.11b connection but not via USB cradle since it does not support this
function.
