If your touchscreen is not responding to any touch it may need to be calibrated. Make sure that your device system software is up to date .To update your software of your device ,see updating automotive maps and software with Garmin Express .

  1. 1.Connect your nuvi to your computer with a compatible USB cable
2.Open the Garmin nuvi drive located in Computer or File Explorer
    3.Open the Garmin folder
4.Locate and delete the GUPDATE.GCD file
If the GUPDATE.GCD file is not in your Garmin folder, you will need to update or reinstall the system software in your nuvi
Try the screen calibration steps again once the update is complete
5.Safely disconnect your nuvi from your computer
    6.Power the nuvi Off
7.Press and hold the power button down for 1-2 minutes (the screen may display Pre-Boot Mode during this time)
8.Continue holding the power button until the screen calibration option displays
9.Release the power button and accurately touch the dots as they appear
    The dots will change location
A stylus or pencil eraser may be used to accurately touch the dots
10.When Calibration Complete appears on the screen, touch OK
