Every battery follows a charge discharge cycle. Say your batteryhas 1000 cycles, and it goes down every time you charge and discharge. Also if you're constantly on power for long, remove your battery.

connect the charger to the socket, then connect the charger to your laptop. if it does not charge remove it for 5mins, connect the charger back. it will work now. sometimes when the battery is fully charged and you remove the charger and connect it back it may not charge until the battery is low;lets say 99%.

My Acer Aspire 5600 has periodic charging problem. Will charge up OK when switched off. When switched on, after a while the battery indicator changes from green to amber and then starts flashing. Then the...

I guess your charger has very low power (low wattage). That is why it charges the battery when the laptop is off. But as soon as the laptop is on, the charger can't keep up with the power dreained by keeping the laptop on and eventually the battery runs outr of juice.
According to the user's manual (http://support.acer.com/acerpanam/manuals/acer/0000/userguides/AS5600_3680_UG.pdf)
I suggest you get a charger with at least 90 W.

Battery indicator keeps fluctuating to 4hrs to 6hrs back to 4hrs then 8hrs every 5 mins or so i have acer A0532H with windows 7

first of all let me ask how old is the battery, if it`s new-discharge the battery until pc shuts down itself because of low battery, remove the battery , unplug AC charger from laptop, wait for 5 minutes, then hold power button for 5 full seconds, wait another 5 minutes, then put battery and ac charger on , don`t turn on laptop yet, wait until battery indicator shows that battery fully charged, then remove AC charger, and turn on laptop. P.S. you can try this on old battery too, but usually worthless, because old batteries are not recognizable by system currectly ..

Cant use the garmin 350 while charging

The solution is really easy. Works in the car or usb charger or whatever.
Once you insert the car charger, wait till the pc connection picture comes.
Than unplug the car charger.
Re-insert it as soon as the picture goes off.
Voila. It is ready to use now!
