The DC output would be the power supply, it would be the component closest to where the power cable plugs into. You should be able to use a multi meter to test for voltages at it's connector. Make sure the voltages are stable. Be careful not to shock yourself.

Pioneer VSX-72TXV wont power up. mcacc light just blinks.. unit does not have a video 2 button on the face.

try holding the "TUNE -" button and the ZONE 2 on/off button and see if it turns on. If its turns on, but turns back off again, you either have a problem with your speakers (try disconnecting them) or there is a problem with the receiver that needs to be repaired.

My pioneer vsx 921 switched off while playing loud. ADv MCACC is flashing and it is not powering on? What could be the problem?

Your unit is locked in protection mode. Hold the advanced surround button and the power button to turn it back on. If it shutdown right away, then you shorted out the amp and need to take it in for repair.

AMP ERR blinks in the display, then the power automatically switches off. The MCACC blinks
and the power does not turn on.

The receiver has a serious problem.

Do not try to turn on the receiver. Contact a Pioneer authorized independent service company for assistance.
