The DXG company website does not list a model DXG-599V. There is a DXG-589 and a DXG-595 model which may be similar to yours. To download the Manual for either of these cameras go to the the following link: http://www.dxgusa.com/downloads and find the appropriate model.
a tiny disk as in usb? you plug it into the usb port on the digi frame. if its a small sd card disk then you plug that in then go to menu button on your picture frame and surf the pics. . would help if you told me what digi frame you had but that should do it let me know if so would love a good rating.
Here is a link to your manual. You do not have to sign up for anything and there is no junk after.Click download, then enter the 5 digit code and press download again. It will open a menu.If you want to save it permananetly click save.It will most likely save to your documents folder. For 1 time use click run.You may want to save this site for future reference also.It is excellent and has a wide variety of electronics. If you have any questions or need more help, just comment here and I will get an autolink to your post and reply ASAP.I really encourage responses so I can follow up properly as I know where you stand and asking someone else restarts all the explaining because we cannot see other 'Expert's' responses.Good luck,Greg

The flashing eye has to do with the camera's red-eye reduction feature. Check to see that the little window below the flash on the front of the camera is clean, and make sure the lens is spotless. If that doesn't work, try de-activating the red-eye reduction using the camera menu.
connect the data cable to the computer & ur digi cam !!!! now keep the cam in the dispaly pic mode & switch on ur cam !!! now the digi cam operates like a pen drive u can now copy the images and paste it in ur system
It looks like this unit has a video out to a t.v. or vcr hookup. What you can do is download it to a vcr [ record it ] and pickup a vido frame grabber, what you are going to do is snag the photos from the video tape after recording them on tape. This is the only way unless you wish to tear up the unit; desolider the chip and using software retrieve the photos. If you are good with a solidering iron; digi key sells the usb port you woll need to replace. www.digikey.com
