OK, to clarify.
Ethernet = modem?
Wireless box = router?
Do you have hardwire connection to router?
Check the wireless settings in router with hardwire connection.
Most routers use random channel search for wireless.
I usually set this for to use one channel only.
Stops random interference and connections.
FYI: Most routers are on 2.4ghz - same as cordless phones and some hand radios - the frequencies over lap sometimes - even though they aren't supposed to.
Microwaves will also disrupt signals.

Problem connecting to router

Log into the Belkin router and make sure that the DHCP services are running. If it is, and you still are not getting addresses, perform a factory reset of the router. There is a link in the web management console to do this.

One of five PCs not connecting to Belkin 54G router

I would connect it to the router using a lan cable to verify that it will get a IP address and connect to the internet. Write down the IP information and make a static wireless connection with that info. It should work hardwired and wirelessly with this info. If it doesn't work wirelessly you may have a bad wireless card or you may find that their is already conflicting static IP info in the connection that has to be removed. Make sure that on your internet protocol (TCP/IP) properties that you have selected "Obtain an IP address automatically" and Obtain DNS server address automatically". Clear any settings that you may see there.

Modem reboots when using wireless

Did you try upping your lease time and see if that changes things.
The lease time is the amount of time before a DHCP request a new IP address.
Ususally it get the same, but if it is malfunctioning it can cause problems like this.
