Casio Ex-Z75 Battery not charging ? (by 14 users)
The charger just flashes red on and off and when the battery is put into the camera it is dead. ??

I have the same problem! i called 800-435-7732 and it is a very common problem, lithium battery!! Casio is sending a new battery at no charge - give them a call, they were great!

I bought the camera in aug 07 and used it through oct 07. Since then my charger does not charge the battery. When I plug it the red light flashes on and off. I've left it charginf overnight and... nothing. I took the battery and charger for inspection in a third party provider, and they tested both. Results were: battery unknown status as the charger is not transmitting the usual charge. They said I had to replece the charger and then if lucky it would charge the battery. If not I would have to buy both.

Same problem. Had to buy a replacement...the no-name brand works fine!

When I try charging the battery the charger flashes red and the battery does not charge.

I have the same problem! But the guy that left the message to just call CASIO is right!!! They are sending me a new battery. They said that its the lithium battery that it happens to...blah...blah...blah...either way just call this number 800-435-7732. Thanks!!!!!
