On the page which opens, select the operating system of your computer (Windows XP/ Vista..) from the drop-down menu (See attached image).

Then download the required drivers and software.

The list of available software and drivers will load only after selecting the operating system of the computer.

If so you can download the drivers/softwares from the Lexmark Official website. Since you didn't mention the Operating System installed on your computer, I can make this specific, but have these options for you.

You need to install the software. When it asks, you then connect the printer, it should detect it and you can start to use it.
Are you using the correct drivers/software for your Operating system.
What version of windows are you using, is the software compatable with it?

You need to download the driver software ( same you got in the disk ) from Lexmark website.
Download software into the computer where you are going to install the printer. It is important that you do not connect the printer before installing software.
Install the software downloaded and connect printer only when explicitly required by software setup program.
Here is the driver download page , select your windows version and start download.
