I think my Black 3e is clogged like your yellow.  i do a test print after deep cleaing and NOTHING prints for the 3e section.  I'm assuming that means it is still clogged.  Has anyone tried the Print Head Clog Buster, the other guy suggested?  Does it work?

How do i clean the printhead on my pixma mp750

If you open the preferences option for your printer there should be a maintenance tab with easy options for cleaning and checking the results. The alternative is to use the menu directly on the printer: 1. Press Menu twice to show "2. Maintenance" 2. The first option is NOZZLE CHECK 3. Press OK This should give you a print showing the current state of each colour. If there are any missing lines in 3eBK or lines in any colours then perform the head cleaning below. 1. Press Menu twice to show "2. Maintenance" 2. Press + to show "CLEANING" 3. Press OK Repeat the nozzle check after each clean. If not improved after three attempts try a deep clean as below (cleaning uses up ink) 1. Press Menu twice to show "2. Maintenance" 2. Press + twice to show "HEAD REFRESHING" 3. Press OK Repeat the nozzle check. If still not printing correctly there are various external solutions available to clean the print head such as

Yellow ink will not print

You may have blocked yellow print head nozzles.

Try the printer maintenance to clear the printer nozzles.
After several deep cleaning attempts and there is no improvements in the printthen a new print head is required.
A new print head maybe expensive and it maybe more cost effective to purchase anew printer.
The Print head will contain all the nozzels for all the different colors so you cannot just replace a single color print head nozzels.

The printer is recognising that the Yellow is full but when I print out a test page the yellow doesn't print. Is this a printer or cartridge issue?

try to do deep head cleaning, few times. If this doesn't helps you need to remove the ink's and print head and bottom of print head ( where are ink nozzles ) few times press on wet cloath.

Then repeat the deep cleaning.

No blus ink makes it to paper even though there is ink in cartridge. When looking at nozle check, no trace of blue.

Hi, remove ink tanks, remove print head and on piece of fabric spill some alcohol and few times press the bottom of printhead. Repet steps few time on clean fabrics.
Put it all back in and run head cleaning and then try to print nozlle check.

I have done a deep nozle clean on the printer but the yellow still doesn't seem to be working

Sometimes you may need to run quite a few cleaning cycles to get it to work. 10-20 or more. You can try cleaning the print head using white vinegar and a lint free swab. The vinegar dissolves any dried ink build ups. This can make any ink jet printer work just like new if you do a good job. BTW it can be messy and you better like smelling like a pickle ;-]

No black ink coming out from new cartridge?

I just posted this solution to two other, related questions. It may be time to try desperate measures!

I have a PIXMA MP750 and months ago my yellow ink stopped printing. I was only able to use the printer for black and white printing. Every once in awhile I would try multiple deep cleans, new ink cartridges, etc. etc. I talked to the very unhelpful folks at Canon who suggested a new print head ($70), but they couldn't guarantee this would actually work. They really thought it would be best just to buy a new printer.

Although I was feeling bad about adding yet another cheap printer to the landfill I'd pretty much decided to get a new printer. As a last resort I decided to use a suggestion I came across (at to run hot water through the print head. It was easy to remove the print head (check your manual). I propped the head up in my dish drainer and ran hot water straight from the tap first through the end with the little circular parts and then through the end with the metal strips. I eventually used boiling water from the kettle.

As I poured water through one end I started to see yellow ink coming though the other end so I figured the ink had dried in the head. I kept pouring water through (from both ends) until the water ran clear. I dried the print head, put it back in with the cartridges and VOILA! after MONTHS without yellow ink it's working beautifully again!

If you've tried everything else and feel desperate enough to buy a new printer you might want to try this and report back.

All of my ink cartridges are full but the yellow won't print.

Try taking alcohol and qtips just to the contact strip where the cartridge and the printer meet? What type of connection to the computer is it?
