I have a 2010 Maytag Centennial (MVWC300VW1) washer. In the fill mode using hot or warm water setting, it stops filling after 20 seconds. I have replaced the water inlet valve how ever the problem is still...

Hi Daniel.
I've heard of this problem before. In that case it was because the water pressure was too low and the inlet is set for higher pressure.
If you have a low pressure (gravity) delivery you may want to check if there is an inlet specifically designed for LOW water pressure.
Good luck

F17 coming up on screen what is this fault

http://teral.ru/katalog_stiral_nyh_mashin/siemens_simens/?p=6

use google translate

Malfunction of the water of the Gulf ( the Gulf of spent more time than envisaged by the program ) .

lol

so your water intake is too low a preasure

try too use low pressure valves for cold water
if you have low pressure
then use the hot water valve in the cold water
cold water valves are like 2-3 bar intake
hot water 1 bar or less

so work better for low pressures intakes

or there is a flow filter on the back of valves
you need to remove it with plyers and clean it

moreover check the valve opens

but this is what F17 means... no water in in the right time for it too be in {low pressure}

good luck

No hot water pressure in kitchen, low cold pressure

sounds like a bad faucet//only if you had good pressure before it was installed..to cheaply test..take the hot water off from the shutoff valve and spray it into a milk jug to see if theres good flow..then replace the faucet assmbly..dont forget to turn off the shutoff valve first..or you will get a watery surprise!

I have a problem with low hot water pressure can you help would an elec shower help

1) If possible, it is Best to solve pressure problem before installing new shower.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Low-hot-water-pressure.html

2) If the cold water has good pressure, then Electric shower could fix problem ... but shower would have to be connected to the cold water line and not the hot.

3) Seems the expense of adding a electric shower would be greater than having plumber fix low hot water pressure.
Assuming you have access to plumbing pipes, and this is not apartment building.

Cold water pressure poor in shower. Just had Rheem installed.

You might have clog in water lines.
If shower is only place where low pressure exists, then clog is probably at shower valve.
Disassemble valve and see if clog will flush out.
From there, you have to keep moving back along cold water line looking for pipe filled with sediment or elbow that has obstruction.

If pressure problem is bad at every cold tap, but doesn't affect Hot water, then clog is inside Cold line somewhere after water heater connects to cold line.
Buy a pressure gauge that connects to water hose.
Buy adapter that also fits pipe thread.
For example Brady BTG 100.
Test outdoor spigot for baseline pressure.
Open cold tap inside house and see how much pressure drops.
Close cold line and open hot tap and see how much pressure drops.

Next, move pressure gauge along cold water line.
Take apart pipes and inspect for obstruction at elbow or pipes filled with sediment.
Look for any place galvanized pipe connects to copper pipe, since this will be likely place for obstruction because of bi-metal corrosion.

Low water pressure

When it was installed was there any copper sweating done? If so, the valve cartridge can get fried if not removed prior to the immense heat from a torch.

Cold water pressure is very low. Checked water line and screen. Hot water flows without a problem. Cold water sometimes starts fast and then reduces to a trickle.

Do you have a regular "boiler drain" type valve for your cold water supply? Is it possible your washer came loose inside the valve like mine did?

You will of course have to turn off the water mail to check this.

check to see if the pressure has dropped on the cold tap if so then the main pressure to the house is low. try opening the main valve to the house a bit more it may be partially shut.if the cold pressure is higher check to see if the water tank is filling properly .
