On the Canon TR-1200 you need to press tax rate and then enter the amount you want to set for tax, eg. 5 or 10%. then press tax+. Each time you press tax+ or tax- it calculates at that amount. It should be the same for other Canon calculators.
cheers.

Casio hr-100-tm I have set my tax rate at 0.825 now when I add 100+ tax it gives me 100.83 instead of 108.30 how do I fix this

There's nothing wrong. If you have a tax rate of 0.825% then the tax on 100 is .83. If you want 8.30 tax on 100, then set the tax rate to 8.3%.

I CANT CHANGE THE TAX RATE

1. Press [AC]
2. Hold [SET/%] key for about 2 seconds
3. Press [TAX+]
4. Input the tax rate
5. Press [SET/%]

The above worked for my MS-80TV. I did have to do it a couple times. I noticed when I did it the time it worked I could see the word "SET" in the display. I think the key might be to hold the set button just until you see the word SET.

Best Wishes!
