Can't Get The Tax Rate Set!
Turn the switch to Rate/Set, then click Tax+ then punch the number then turn the switch to ON. You are set for your tax.

On the Canon TR-1200 you need to press tax rate and then enter the amount you want to set for tax, eg. 5 or 10%. then press tax+. Each time you press tax+ or tax- it calculates at that amount. It should be the same for other Canon calculators.

Here are the steps to do it:
1. Enter the desired tax rate number. E.g. 6
2. Press blue "RATE" button and TAX% sign will start blinking.
3. Press "TAX-" button and the TAX% sign will stop blinking.
4. You have set the rate, now press C to clear the display and
start using with new rate.

To change the tax rate on the Canon MP11DX (and most others):
Slide the "GT" button to "RATE", enter your tax rate and hit the "TAX+" button. Once changed, slide the "GT" button back to the "ON" position.
