I haven't had any problems printing on my brother mfc-440cn before. but now all of the sudden i hit print on a document and nothing happens. there's no message saying "receiving data" or anything on the printer. when i bring up my printer status on my computer it says "error-printing" and nothing else. do you know what could be wrong?
Does the machine do a simple copy job without probs?
If so, the ph is ok. Do repair the mfl-pro suite then. If you run the machine thru a network a firewall update might have disconnected the machine from routing.

yes, it will scan items to my computer, but won't print from my computer. i'm not sure how i repair the mfl-pro suite or run the machine through a firewall update? i'm completely technologically impaired.
