Acer x3400 wont start up

Remove the Power Cord and then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds plug the power cord back in and press the power button. If it reboots you had a Static Charge Buildup and released it by holding the power button for 30 seconds.

When you press the power button do you hear the fan running, disk drives running, cd drive clicks once, anything on the lcd screen? If not I would think your Power Supply is bad and needs to be replaced.

It's either the Power Supply or Motherboard.

It sounds like you have a short in your power supply. Sony have problems with these parts going out: http://www.partstore.com/Part/Sony/Sony/KV30HS510/Sony/Sony/670581001/New.aspx
but if you are not familiar with electronic repair you would have to look at your power supply and get the exact number off it to compare with these:http://www.partstore.com/SearchResults.aspx?q=Sony+kv30hs510+Power+supply&ctf=%5B2+TO+4%5D&ctfn=Parts

im sorry to answer like this but the best place would be from Canon, if you contact canon spare parts (you can find the pohone numbers on the canon website valid for your country IE> www.canon.com,au for AUSTRALIA or WWW.CANON.COM For the USA and so on.
they will have under CONTACT US the parst number to call, in some cases you can also scour through Ebay as sometimes there are ppl selling the printer as a faulty unit but it has a woriking power supply or they even may have a Chinese aftermarket one there for you
hope you get what your looking for

Hp t65 error code

Step-1: Connect the All-in-One directly to power outlet
--------------------------------------------------------------

The surge protector may not supply sufficient power to the printer. To isolate the issue please remove the power plug of the printer from the surge protector and connect it to the wall jack directly.

Being a All-in-One Machine it needs full voltage to be supplied while initializing Surge protectors supply suppressed voltage to the printer which leads to unexpected issues in the printer

After performing the steps, please perform the steps below.

Step-2: Power Cycle the All-in-One
---------------------------------------

Follow the steps below to power cycle your all-in-one:

1. Verify that the unit is switched on. Disconnect the USB/Ethernet cable from the All-in-One and also disconnect power cable from All-in-One and also from wall outlet.

2. Wait 30 seconds.

3. Plug in the power cable to All-in-One and also to wall outlet.

4. Check for the functionality.

After performing the above steps if issue persists, please perform the below steps.

Step-3: Reset to Factory defaults
-------------------------------------

A partial reset will return user settings to factory defaults. On some models, language and country/region settings are also reset. Perform a partial reset of the product by following the instructions below.
  1. Unplug the power cord from the unit.
  2. Do the following according to your specific product:
    • HP Officejet G55 and G55xi series: Press and hold Minus ( - ) and 3 while plugging in the power cord.
    • HP Officejet G and K series:
    • Press and hold # and 3 while plugging in the power cord.
    • HP Officejet T series: Press and hold * and 8 while plugging in the power cord.
    • HP PSC 700 series: Press and hold Cancel and the Left Arrow while plugging in the power cord.
  3. While still holding the buttons down, plug the power cord back in. Release the buttons after the all-in-one begins to initialize. After RESET displays and the printer goes back to a ready state, the reset is complete.
  4. Try the print job again to see if this step resolved the issue.

Bought a display model of the pixma mx700 series

1. If you bought it from a store bring everything back with receipt and tell them they need to correct the problem.

2. You lucky you even got a power cord what brand of printer is it. Most company's don't even supply a power cord with the printer.

Printer takes a long time to start

Hi! Sorry to hear of this issue! There are a few steps you can do to diagnose the issue. If these steps do not work, let me know and I can suggest other steps or which part you may need to order. I can be emailed directly at: bosscomputers@comcast.net or http://bosscomputers.org Follow the steps below to ensure power is properly supplied to the printer: Check the power module part number against the part number listed in the User?s Guide to ensure the proper power adapter is being used. Disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet. Disconnect the printer data cable from the printer. Disconnect the power cord from the printer, wait thirty seconds, then reconnect the power cord to the printer. Reconnect the power cord directly into a working wall outlet. If the power cord was plugged into a surge protector or power strip, plug the power cord directly into a wall outlet instead. If the printer still will not turn on, plug the printer into a wall outlet in another room. If the printer turn on when connected to an electrical outlet in another room, there is a problem with the power in the original room. If there is still no power to the printer, then the power cord or printer may be defective. Try the power cord on another HP Deskjet or Photosmart printer to see if the power cord is functioning. If the power cord does not work on the other printer, it is defective. Replace the power cord. If the power cord works on the other printer, then this printer is defective. Service your printer. If another printer is not available to test with, carefully inspect the power cord for damage. Inspect the power cord for visible damage. If the power cord is damaged, replace the power cord first. If this does not resolve the issue, or if the power cord looks fine, then service your printer. Again, if these steps do not work for you and the issue is still present, then the printer will need a specific part - and I can tell you how to order, install, etc, so that you can do the repairs yourself! =) Just email me at bosscomputers@comcast.net Please rate my help for you too, so that I can track your progress as well as helps me get a better rating =) I really appreciate that, as well as hopefully being able to get your issue resolved/fixed!! ~Darrin~
