Go to NewEgg.com and order your power supply cord. It's a very good site.

Try to reset your printer it might fixed your problems:
To reset your device do the following steps.

While the printer is on, remove the power cord from the back of the printer, wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord into the back of the printer.
If the printer is not already on, turn it on by pushing the power button.
Try printing again. I think it will help you.

Thanks

WHERE CAN I GET A POWER SUPPLY FOR MY FIC IC-VG61 ICE CUBE PC???

I am not certain of the exact model but I know where you can find one.
www.newegg.com has Micro PS3, Mini ITX and serveral other SFF sizes. I found a replacement PS for my Shuttle and it is about the same size as yours.

If this helps please vote for my solution.

My Sheba CR61 will not power up?

Hi Mate

Without buying a multimeter the easiest way is to check with your nose. Sounds silly but trust me I've DOA'd over a thousand power supplys and the manufacurers that I have returned them to have never argued with my nose - neither has my multimeter. Sharp acrid metalicy/plasticy tipe smell and it's fried.

Other things are to try another aplience in the power point. The other thing that comes to mind is that a fair few power supplies come with a dual voltage switch 100/240 v. In Australia if you switch it over to 100v unit fried, if you local power is 100v and you have it set to 240v I have no idea what the result would be.

U can by a reasonable power supply for as little as $30AU but it is worth spending up to around $60AU ($3000US & $6000US in todays economic climate) especialy if you are thinking of adding further components to your system.

Final note my wife learnt to her advantage (hubby not such a dumb bugger) sacrafitial or resetable powerboards are a must.

Hope this helps.

HP 4215xi all in one, continues to give the error paper jam, there is no paper jam. I have cleaned all sensors, rollers etc. I have tried a partial and full reset. Any ideas?

Hi,
  1. Turn off the HP product and turn it around so the back of the unit faces you.
  2. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the all-in-one. The power cord must be disconnected to allow the paper feed rollers to turn freely.
  3. Locate and open the rear access door by pressing in on the left side tab and then pulling the door toward you. Figure 2: Removing the rear access door

Inspect the pressure rollers on the rear access door and verify that they are clean and turn freely. Clean the rollers if needed with a soft towel lightly moistened with water. If the rollers do not turn freely, replace the rear access door. Click How to Buy on this page to order replacement parts.
  1. From the rear access door opening, remove the jammed paper.
  2. Remove the remaining paper from the paper supply tray. Discard any paper that is damaged or crumpled and then re-stack and reload the paper into the paper supply tray.
  3. Reinstall the rear access door.
  4. Reconnect the power cord to the unit and turn the unit on.

The following information will help prevent paper jams from occurring:
  • Never use paper that is torn or wrinkled.
  • If you are having problems using paper that has already been printed on once (recycling), replace it with new paper.
  • Remove and then reinstall the rear access door. Verify that the access door is fully locked in place. The paper can skew if the rear access door is not locked.
  • Every six months to one year, clean the paper feed rollers with a rag lightly moistened with water. Over time the paper feed rollers accumulate dust and do not function as well as they once did.
  • When printing envelopes, tuck the flap into the envelope and crease the folds before printing.
Goodluck..

Ink supply level

Hello!

There is usually additional HP software provided on the CD the printer came with which which is capable of indicating  the ammount of toner left int he cartridge.
If no such software is provided, then you can only tell when your toner level is low by a flashing light on the printer itself.

Hope this helps!

WHERE WOULD THE UDS CORD BE LOCATED? I JUST BROUGHT A CANON PRINTER PIMAiP1800 AND I NEED HELP HOOKING IT UP TO MY emachines computer can you help????

Most printers do not come with a USB cable.
They cost about $25-$30 at an electronics retailer.

The part the connects to your computer will be squared on one end and rounded on the other. The rectagular flat end will connect to port usually on back of computer.

Here is a picture of what the ends look like.

Make sure you run the software that came with printer before connecting the cable. Software will tell you when to connect cable.

Hope this helps!

Hi, My family recently purchased a Brother MFC-210 and brought it home thinking you could hook it up with a USB cord. To our surprisement, no USB slot was on the printer and could only be hooked up with a...

You need to use a category 5 Ethernet cable, not a standard phone cord. A Cat5 cable has 8 wires, where a phone cord only has 4. Surprising that you got anything to print. Look at the connector to verify that it has 8 connecting pins. It is also wider than a phone connector plug. You need to plug the printer into a Ethernet Hub or Switch which in turn connects to your ethernet (network) card or port on the computer. It will most likely not work if you plug it directly into your computer.
