Question about Maytag Neptune MDG5500AW Gas Dryer
I have to fix a tall baffle in a drum of Neptune maytag dryer, but i don't know how to remove a back panel to do so. I removed all bolts a screws but don see a way to remove the panel. My dryer is making a grinding noise like the drum is rubbing on something as it turns I want to remove exterior casing top or sides to see what is happening in there can you help me. I have a different model than the one mentioned previosly. Thanks.
You have a choice for which side front door should be on this model. There are 4 screws on front door. Take all 4 screws and pull down the front panel. You will see two metal parts each side which holds top panel. Remove two screws and metal parts. Now you can push up the top panel.
