Question about HP LaserJet 1100 Printer
The ink cartridge seems to still have plenty of ink in it, but the printer won't operate unless I change out the cartridge. Is there a way to reset the printer so it thinks it has received a new cartridge?
The printer's sensors are looking for different values(voltages) and until the printer is satisfied, it will not print. If the cartridge is wrong kind ar internally damaged,it will not work. You may want to call the manufacturer,a lot of times they have warranties and they might pro-rate it(discount th next one)
hope this helps
