The LCD can be replace just bring it to the samsung service center to replace new LCD and back to normal images.

the problem is a little microswitch that tells the unit to power off when the back cover is removed... it seems to be a common problem, causing the screen to go 'interlaced' and reset or hang, sometimes shaking causes it to restore itself. solution is remove the back cover (4 torx screws and 1 philips screw under the warranty tag) and glue the switch in the up position...
