Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

Hi. I have an Acer Aspire 5720z. I am having a problem with my voice call using the yahoo messenger. I have test the mic and it seems to be working. The problem is, I can't hear the playback. When I would try to call someone, I couldn't even hear the ring, and also when someone is trying to call me. I have gone to the audio device and made sure that nothing is muted or whatever. I've really run out of solutions. Thank you for your time.

No audio with lifecam vx5000

Go to the microsoft website - fill in your details to navigate to the help page for your model - check out the 'readme' link especially the 'known issues and breaking' section - some later lifecam webcams require additional software or specific to IE

Hi,

This would so solve your problem.

I can't use my built-in mic of my acer aspire one notebook.

To test the microphone, click "start" button, then "Control Panel", then "Sounds and Audio Devices". On the popup window that opens, click on the "Voice" tab, then click on the button that says "Test Hardware". After several seconds this will bring up a test program that will show a noise level meter when you're speaking into the microphone. (The default device listed under voice recording should be "Realtek HD Audio Input".)
