Turn off the power, and then hold down the "stop" button on the actual system (not the remote). While you're holding down "stop," push the "eject" button on the system and it should say "unlocked." If ever for some crazy reason you might want your tray to lock again, just do the exact same thing until it says "locked."

I have this problem all the time and it's sooooo annoying. It just seems to happen randomly every now and then.

I have a LG XD63 mini audioset, but the CD won't eject. The display says 'locked' what do I do?

tap the CD door gently after pressing the eject button. Repeat a few times. The CD should eject. If it still doesn't the consult a expert. After the defect is rectified use the system regularly at least couple of times weekly.

My jvc compact component system cd drawer won't open

The loading belt is broken, or the gears are jammed and locked down, either way a major dis-assembly will be required to attempt repair.

For unlock the JVC Cd Disc You only have to put Your Machine in OFF mode and press at the same time the STOP and the EJECT bottoms.
For lock the CD player again You have to do the same process but with the machine in ON Position.

Tivoli Audio Music System: CD wont eject

We've had the Tivoli Music System for 3 years. A CD became stuck in the player when I pressed the EJECT button before turning the player on. We tried turning it off and back on, unplugging it for a minute, removing the batteries and unplugging, etc. Nothing worked. I finally turned the player upside down in my lap, then turned on the CD player, and it said LOADING! Progress!!! I turned it right-side up and hit EJECT, and it worked like new. The CD loading mechanism had become bound up and simply needed a different "attitude" adjustment. Don't give up too early in attempting to fix these players on your own.

I also have a LG FA163DAB what won't eject a CD.

Hi there! I have one of these units and there appear to be 2 LOCKS on it. The first is a general LOCK probably to prevent people from fiddling with the controls while on display on the shopfloor. This lock is activated and removed by pressing the STOP key on the remote and on the front of the unit at the same time for 5-10 seconds. The second lock is a CD player lock which comes on automatically (I think) when the unit is moved to prevent damage to the laser inside. Does anyone know how to remove this lock? It has been on for about 3 days now and it is not explained in the user manual. My CD is stuck inside and I cannot listen to anything else but the CD which is inside the unit!

CD trays locked

You mean ejecting a CD on a portable CD player or a regular cd player. Some CD players have a hold or lock function, try reaching for your players manual and read through the CD lock function.

5 cd changer locked on cd and stays ejected

. Nope no loose springs.. Its a problem that happens alot of times when you dont follow the manufacturers instructions. What happens is when you pushed on the tray assembly, you pushed the nylon cam gear out of mechanical timing. Unless you get the mecanical manual for this player, you most likly will not be able to adjust this yourself. probably a shop would charge you more then it is worth. Sorry. Good Luck.
