Orange tint on the picture all channels

Pictures still have colors shadows mixed into the tv picture wright?Yes?Tv still have and causes by convergence board as a problems.

The color signal consists of Red, Green and Blue. Those three colors, at various degrees, make all the other colors on your screen.

If you have a BRIGHT green screen it's best you don't operate your set.
If it's just tinted green then there is a problem on the CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) drive board. Do check your "tint" setting and see if someone misadjusted it. If that isn't it then you need to have your set on an electronics bench and get an estimate for repair.

I'm afraid I don't have a solution - I have the same exact problem with my Canon MX860. Did you ever get a solution?

actually when it starts it starts like this pics with red or purple shades , noise ,distorted, blurred pics , discolored then it goes completely black

dont worry just call Sony for free repairs it is a manufac fault in thousands of cameras with different brands just call sony about ur problem PLS RATE ME FIXYA for help

Check the cable connections in the back, if it's a High Definition TV from your cable box, you will have three cables, red, green and blue. If one of the cables is in the wrong spot or is not connected (loose) you will lose color in the picture.

Take time to get used to the settings, you may think the screen looks dull at first. The truth is most people have way too much contrast on their TVs.
These settings will also work for Cable or Dish hookups, in which case you may change the Noise Reduction option to Medium to reduce signal noise.

With the picture being dull and having a green tint, I would strongly suspect the picture tube is weak.
