Code UL on a Maytag or whirlpool washer mean

That is an easy one to fix :>D

If uL (unbalanced load) appears in display, the load is out of balance. The washer is running a load-balance correction routine. Allow the washer to continue. If the dial is flashing and the washer has stopped, redistribute the load, close the lid, and press START/PAUSE.

There is still water sloshing in the tub under the basket after a wash cycle is complete. Kenmore top load 110.21302012

If the pump is working rotate the selector dial around slowly until the pump comes on again. If it doesn't empty the tub then something is blocking the water, flow, i would look at the hoses for links or blockages

How to reset this washer with an error code UE?

UE is usually an unbalanced load error. This could be an easy fix. Make sure that the washer is level. Next, check the load in the washer and redistribute the items. If the door is locked, you may need to force the washer to drain in order to redistribute the items. On some machines, you choose the Spin: No spin option.

Sometimes, this indicates a problem with the washer spin shaft and bearings or tub support system. To check this, try running the washer with no laundry inside of it. If the unbalanced load error occurs, then there is a physical problem that has to be fixed. For top-loading washers, lift up the tub a bit and see if you can spin it by hand. For a front-loading washer, simply try to spin the washer tub. If the tub is hard to rotate, you'll need to check the suspension and bearings. (The suspension has a damper shock and spring for some models. On some top-loading washers, there are three suspension rods. If one is damaged, the tub won't stay balanced.)

Please add a comment with the make and model of your washer for the parts diagram. If your washer is under warranty, contact the manufacturer after confirming that the issue isn't with the load or the machine being out-of-level. I hope this helps.

What does error code dc mean?

DC error code means: "Unbalanced load". It can occur if the washer:
1. is overloaded (too many clothes inserted),
2. can't balance the load within a few balance cycles,
3. has a damaged balance sensor,
4. isn't regulated properly (vibrates abnormally).
IMHO you just overloaded the washer :)

Washer motor overheating

Check the drum for ease of rotation, bearing noise. Make sure all support springs are good and at the same position.

Tub is loose

Hello Rob - Try rotating the drum manually when it is turned. If you notice that the drum is not balanced and cannot rotate freely, I would suggest contacting a professional so they can move forward accurately. Washer may possibly have a faulty bearing, unbalance drum or pulley issue.

The digital timer on the machine will say 1 minute to go, but the machine will run on the spin cycle for 6 to 8 minutes before it finishes. Is there a part I can replace to correct this problem?

Your washer displays an estimate of time remaining in the current wash cycle. That estimate is based on the load finishing without any delays. Prior to going into a high speed spin, your washer "tests" the load balance by either rocking or slowing rotating.

If it senses and off balance condition, it will attempt to "rebalance" the load by itself and then retest, rebalance, etc. until it is satisfied that the load is as balanced as possible. Then it begins to spin. When your washer takes longer than is predicted in the display, it is because of this.

Washer dial problem on whirlpool LSB6000PQ

HI, This will occur when the timer mechinism(washer dial) has failed. The main cause of this type of failure will be timer motor breakdown. The timer motor is essential to the sequential balance of the cycle that is selected. If it is unable to rotate the dial properly, it will not allow the unit to operate correctly.
Replacing the timer module will correct this issue you are experiencing at this time.

Machine seems to have balance off with every load and beeps.

Make sure that the washer is completely level. If it is not, adjust the foot screws.

Balancing

This type of thing should not be required. Front load washing machines (well, topload too i guess) will balance themselves out for the spin cycle unless the machine is grossly overloaded.

Good luck.
