Copy that HDTV GURU, will keep on experimenting on length of time/auto-cutoff (if it really exist) that is of course if I can get anymore Live Session. Other experts are really "too quick to the draw", though a few are loaded with "blanks". Cheers buddy.

1994 GMC Topkick not getting power from the fuel pump. Where is the fuel pump relay located?

Before going there, check your INERTIA SWITCH (INTERTIAL CUTOFF SWITCH). A small accident or a sharp bump can cause the cutoff switch to trip. The switch is located adjacent to the passenger side rear shock tower, and there is a pushbutton to reset (on most Topkick tucks). Carbureted Topkick trucks do not have cutoff switches, and some custom trucks have the inertia switch relocated.

NO POWER TO TOP DRAW

Not sure which model you have but if top drawer in double drawer has no power then it could mean a few things - either the thermal cutoff sensor has blown or the power board at the base of the dishwasher (under bottom drawer has blown). If you are not getting an F2 error on bottom drawer then more likely it is the thermal sensor. Not an easy job to fix as the whole heater assembly has to be replaced. The cutoff is integrated with the heater. The power board is easy to replace provided you have good handyman skills. ALWAYS TAKE OUT MAINS CABLE before working inside the dishwasher.

How to connect dryer wires to thermal cutoff

The first thing I would like you to do is get your model number from the dryer, it is located near the inside the of the dryer door. you need to make sure you have the right heater and thermal cutoff kit. The manufacture has more than one type of heater and thermal cutoff kit out, (( some will not work with others ))... Call another parts store or sears and make sure you have the correct parts !!

Most of the thermo cutoff kits have direction and if they are not making scence then the chance of you having the rong one is good !!!!!!!

If you remove the thermal cutoff from your origanal heater and then look at how many conetion pins are left. The new heater and old heater should be the same.

The most common heater is the 2 conection. But they made one with three. and if you have the one with three, it has to be replaced with the same one !!!

Without knowing the model of your machine, I cant tell you how to wire your machine.

I recomend you use the direction that came with the Cutoff kit.

Runs, doesn't get hot

Either your element is out our your thermal cutoff.  Check your element for continuity if it is open, replace the element.  If not check the thermal cutoff which is on top of the element.  If the thermal cutoff is open you will also need to replace the operating thermostat and Hi limit thermostat.  The high limit is on the element below the thermal cutoff, and the opperating thermostat is on the exhaust duct.

Car toad fob immobilliserdoes not work

Most newer vehicles that employ a Keyfob armed cutoff also tie it into the door locks. Using the Key to open the door should disable the cutoff signal. While I have seen some that ony allow the drivers door keylock to disingage the cutoff it is your best way to see if the door lock will allow it to start.

THE OIL LIGHT STAYS LIT AND BIKE RUNS ON A LIMITER TZR2501991

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Initially, pls the Oil Light indicates that the level of 2T oil in the reservoir is below minimum level, pls add.

I could only think of 2 possible limiters:
  • rev limiter since the 2T oil is lit hence the ignition will cutoff at a lower RPM; and/or
  • if it is a Japan domestic model, then a speed limiter designed to warn and cutoff the engine ignition anywhere from 80 to 100 kph.
If you are intending to bypass the cutoff, in some versions, there is a wire from the speed indicator light that goes to the CDI unit. Removing said wire/connector would disable the speed limiter.

Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa. Happy Holidays.
