Re: Can't use and of the controls to turn the channels
Have you tried using the remote as well as the front panel? if you have, I would suggest having the control board replaced. Although when all is said and done, it is typical that a user will purchase a new TV because it is only a approx $200 difference for a new TV. I have seen this before when I do warranty work for their company.

Ii would begin by changing the batteries in the remote. As they lose their power they will control some functions but not others. If that doesn't solve it, get back and we can take additional steps. i want to help.
Try the keys on the set I would think there is a menu key there on the set to help get you out of favorite channels. Universal remotes don't always work as thought should be and usually onthe the devices remote will access all functions. Is our remote dead or busted? Try opening it up look for bad solder on the circuit board clean the switch contacts on the the board it may just fix it
This particular model of tv has a problem with the control board.
This is a common problem with this unit. You can find control boards on EBay, or through a local technician. Please refer to our online technician list for a professional near you.
I got the same problem, TV stuck on one channel, what I did was, I remove the cable (fron the back) for a minute and then reconnect, work perfect, well, better than try to return the bloody thing. Good look with your. D.
Do the controls on the tv itself work or just the remote? If it's the remote mabey it's defective. I would look on the Ilo site and see if they recommend a universal remote for their models ( or just getting yours replaced ). If the problem is within the tv, I'd look into the warranty. Sorry if this wasn't any help.
