Not enough gas/flame.

I recently tried to fix my grill. There was alot of build up. I clean everything. I even pushed a small nail through the burner holes in case they were clogged. That seemed to really help. After I used the nail on it I decided to hose the inside off with water. I waited a few minutes for it to dry. I tried to start the grill to help it completly dry, and I could no longer get it to light with big flames. I am only able to light one burner. The flames are barely on. When I attempt to turn gas on to another burner. the first one goes out. Is there something I can do to fix this?

You probably have water in the burners. If you can get one burner to light, let it warm up the grill and maybe it will dry out the others.

It sounds like something got disconnected between your gas line and your venturi (which deliver gas to your burners. Take out the grills and whatever holds your rocks or ceramic briquettes and look at the connection where the flame is coming from. It may be obvious what has come apart, and the fix may be as simple as pushing it back together.

Uniflame GBC772W grill is having some problems the burners do not seem to put out much gas to have a good flame on high i cleaned out the little burner holes but it seems like we don't get enough...

More than likely, the problem is with your grills LP Gas Regulator. To test this theory, tune the tank valve OFF and disconnect the hose from the tank. Wait 5 minutes and reconnect the hose to the tank. Turn the tank valve ON VERY, VERY SLOWLY (Slow motion, slow) until the valve is fully open. Now, light the burner farthest from the tank first and turn it to the highest setting. Has the flame height returned to normal? If so, light the remaining burners the same way. Do all the flame heights, now look normal? If so, you solved the problem.

If not remove the burners from the grill and clean the properly, as well as the venturi valve (part of the burner, where the burner orifice enters the burner) on each burner. As spiders like to go into them and build a nest. After a thorough cleaning, reinstall the burners and try again.

If that still did not solve the problem, you need to replace the hose/regulator assembly. You can get one at any home center or hardware store that sells gas grills and accessories. Be sure to take you old one with you for comparison purposes.

Hope this helped you troubleshoot and solve the problem. Please let me know. Thanks and Happy Grilling!!

Charcoal and grease build up can restrict even the best gas burners , my suggestion is to clean your gas burners with a burner tip tool . You can purchase these at Lowes or Menards . Here is a website for you to visit to get the ideal . http://www.metaltech.com.sa/victor/tips.htm

The flame coming out of the burner bars is small

May likely be low on propane or propane tank gate valve not opened far enough. Otherwise sounds like faulty regulator.

Yellow flame on the rear of my burner

Yellow is a "reducing" flame meaning low oxygen, whereas blue is an oxidizing flame. There is not enough air mixing with the gas. Clean out the pipes and free the air intake holes on the first stage of the burner assembly.
