Start by pulling the paper tray out to stop further pages being printed without jamming the printer up.
Then go onto your print queue on your computer and delete the job that is printing 50 pages.
If it dissapears then put the paper tray back in and it may print out the last page or two that were in the printer buffer.
If it does not dissapear from the print queue then turn the printer off and try to delete the job again.
Once you have ordered the job deleted then you can turn your printer back on and put the paper tray back in and allow it to continue. It should only print out the last page or two and then the job will dissapear
switch off the printer, push and hold the START/STOP key while turning the printer on again, hold the key until the Alarm LED flashes (10-12s), wait further 30 seconds before the test and configuration pages are starting to print
If you are able to print after rebooting the printer,it should print all the way through. Please try to isolate the printer, connect the printer directly to a pc using usb. If the printer works and print just fine, then you need to check your network.

Follow the link below for what the lights on the machine mean. I know that if your alarm and data light are on it means the toner is empty, and you wont be able to print, you would need to replace the toner cartridge, please follow the link below.
Let the printer run out of paper. Then left click START, left click SETTINGS, left click PRINTERS AND FAXES. Right click on your printers icon to view the drop-down menu. Left click on OPEN to view the print queue. If any jobs are displayed, clear them by left clicking on PRINTER tab in the queue display. From the printer drop down menu, left click CANCEL ALL JOBS. This should solve the problem. If not, shut down , turn off, and unplug your computer and all periferral devices from the wall. and unplug the printer from the computer, Wait at least 30 seconds and reconnect all devices. Turn all devices back on and check operation.
Okay, just chatted online with an HP tech, and she helped me solve the problem!
She said:the printer prints an alignment page everytime you turn on due to incomplete initialization process. Turn off the printer and Turn on. Please unplug the usbcable.
Lift the scanner lid of the product.
Place the top of alignment page face down in the left front corner of the
glass.
Place the alignment page face down
Close the scanner lid of the printer.
Press the Scan button.
The On/Resume light will blink during the alignment process.
After the On/Resume light stops blinking, alignment is complete.
Turn off printer and Turn on.
It shouldn't print the alignment page any more! :)
Hope this helps!
