Question about PC Desktops

Audio Device Can not hear anything from my speaker. There is no audio device.Also there is no VGA device How can I install directly via internet, for my audio percisely. Thankyou fauzisutedja@yahoo.com

You need to post again the problem with make and model for your PC. If your pc is assembled/no brand then open it and read the model numbers printed on the motherboard, and post the problem again with motherboard number.

Speakers will not work on e machine et1331g but are installed


Hi,Dear User..Flow instruction:-

1> Check you speaker all connection point.2> Check you connect speaker lead out put Point.3> Power point Check to speaker.4> Installed Audio driver to mother board. Not any other Driver install only proper driver.5> If driver install then check it. a> Go to control panel- Add or remove program, hear show audio driver or not. if not show then install.
b> My computer right click- property- hardware- device manager, if audio point yellow then install driver. if not yellow then install driver.


6> If all thing check then you speaker not support in you PC.

No sound on acer aspire m1610


Verify the speakers are plugged in and turned on and volume is turned up.Also check the volume control on the computer and make sure it is not muted.Go into Device manager and make sure there are no problems (yellow ! or ? and red x) If there are download and install the audio device driver to fix the issue. If you dont know which device you have you can download SIW or aida64 to help identify your audio device.

We've hooked up a desktop PC to our Philips 40pfl5505d/f7, and we can get video but not sound. we have a stereo mini cable from the speaker (green) slot in the comp. to the PC audio in/ out slots...


if you have the video cable connect via the vga to vga lead then if you look next to where the vga cable is connected on the tv there is a pc audio input socket, what you need is a 3.5mm stereo jack to a 3.5mmjack you have it on the right connection on the pc you just need to connect it to the right input on the tv which as i have said is next to the vga plug

My speaker wont work when i play anytin on internet wit sound i dnt hear a sound from my speakers


1: check the speaker wire. it should connect to a green port at the back of the computer.
2. In control panel open realtek audio device manager. it will tell you where its connected
3. try to configure the speaker from audio device manager on the system tray volume icon
still doesnt work then uninstall the driver for sound card from device manger
restart the computer

My laptop's audio has stopped working, and the audio area says that the speaker is working and the sound is on, but nothing plays, not even the test tone. I think it is a driver issue. The speakers are...


control panel sounds and audio,volume you can adjust the volume or advanced,speakers select appropriate speakers or audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have selected the right speakers or control panel,administrive tools,computer management,device manager,sound,could be a yellow question mark? right click to re-install drivers
or
you might have to uninstall then reinstall either the driver or the sound devices

No audio device


The "No Audio Device Error" message is usually displayed by your computer when it does not detect any properly working audio device attached to it. You will not hear any sound from your computer when this message appears. Only the internal speaker of the computer can provide you bleeping sounds.
When this message appears on your screen, you will need to first check your computer's BIOS and ensure that the audio is set to "auto" mode. You should also check if you have installed the correct drivers needed by the audio device attached to your computer in order for it to work properly.
Audio Device Drivers The most frequent cause of this problem is an incorrect audio device driver that has been installed by the user. In order to double check if your driver matches your device, refer to the user's manual that came with it to look for its type and specifications. The audio device driver for an onboard device should be provided along with the chipset drivers in the CD that accompanies the motherboard.
Use the Device Manager You can use the device manager to ascertain if the audio device drivers are installed properly. To go to the device manager, right click on the My Computer icon, then click Properties, click on the Hardware tab and then Device Manager. If any device is marked with a yellow question mark, it is an indication that the required drivers are missing. It should be instantly clear if the audio device is truant.
Loose Connections on the Motherboard You can open your computer and directly look at the information written on the audio device itself. While doing this, make it a point to check all connections by ensuring that everything is properly plugged in its correct place. Sometimes, this error is also caused by loose connections and a sound card that has been improperly attached to the PC.
You can download the latest updated drivers from the manufacturer's website, either from your own computer or another. If you have used another computer, you can use a data storage device to bring the drivers to your machine and execute the software installer from there. Ensure that the driver you have downloaded is compatible with the operating system installed on your machine.

Thanks for the response. I installed the audio cable but still no sound. Any other suggestions?? Checked the device manager and it tells me that the dvd is functioning properly.


First guess, ensure the speakers are powered, double check all connections. Ensure that all audio drivers are installed in the device manager, or try installing the drivers for audio from Dell's website. You can search via your Dell service tag to provide drivers for your PC.

Ensure the volume control for Windows is turned up and not muted, and ensure the volume on the speakers.

Are you trying to play an audio CD from the DVD drive? If so, it may require a 4 pin analog cd audio cable which goes from the DVD drive to the sound card.

go into the control panel - go into sound & audio devices - go to the audio tab - you should see default sound device with a pull down menu - pull it down and see if you have any other devices for audio playback - but first you need to enable your bluetooth speakers or you will never hear anything if you can change devices - same goes for the default recording device and default midi device - hope this helps you out.

Speakers are not working I have checked the plug in the mute buttons but no sound. When I plug them in I hear a sound but just a short beep nothing else


Hi sonfil55,

Do you know if you have the correct audio drivers installed? Go to your Control Panel, then System, and select the Hardware tab and then Device Manager. Scroll down to Sound, video, and game controllers. If you see anything in that list with a yellow exclamation point then you have a problem with your sound card (could be software).

The standard beep you're hearing generally appears when the system doesn't have the sound card installed properly and the built-in speaker takes over. Therefore, my guess is that there is a problem with the audio driver.

If you can provide the make and model of your computer I can direct you to the appropriate audio file drivers.
