It sounds like the ribbon from the front to the main unit has broken, you can get this repaired but you will need to find a Pioneer service center in your area.
yellow is hooked to a constant 12 volt even with key off, it is called KEEP ALIVE MEMORY POWER, the red wire supplies 12 volts with the key on or in accessory.
