Asus Terminator K7 - S3 graphics problem
Has anyone else got any problems using 32bit (or even 24bit would be nice)
in 1280x1024 with this motherboard (A7VC) using the on board graphics?
..or is the VIA KL133 Integrated chipset "Savage 4graphics" drivers just a
pile of poo?
The annoying thing is if I use VGA failsafe drivers in XP it works in 32bit
at 1600x1200! So Sherlock here guesses it must be a driver issue. Having
tried all the ones I can find on CD, ASUS ftp site, VIA etc etc nothing
gives true colour over 1024x768. I even tried updating the VIA 4-in-1
drivers.
Please anyone help?? I am going nuts.
(PS if you are reading ASUS - it would be nice if ASUS tech support actually
emailed back one day).

you can also look at www.s3graphics.com for new drivers.
S3Graphics is part of Via and the developer of the integrated graphicscore.
