Question about Southwestern Bell GH5810 Cordless Phone
My phone keeps beeping 1 time about every hour or so. Like everyone else I can't locate a manual for it. There is also an icon on it that shows an envelope like I have a message but I have no voice services with this phone.
Is this beep letting me know I have a message "somewhere" and if so how do I get to it or is it to let me know The battery needs replacing ?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

It sounds as though your phone has been hit by a power surge or lightning. Try the phone at another location and try another phone at this location to make sure there are no problems with the line. I would almost bet you will find that another phone will work but this phone will not work at another location. Phones are very susceptible to a power surge and to a lightning strike. If another phone works at this location then just buy another phone. It will be cheaper than having this one repaired. Phones are cheap but repairs are not. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
