My Mitsuba 300R does not recognize the card. Will only take pictures using the internal memory. Have not yet tried formatting using my PC and a card reader. I don't have a card reader, so will have to find a friend who does.

Hi,

Try formatting the card with your PC and an external card reader.

I have had my camera for 3 years but never had bought a memory card for it. I recently purchased one from Walmart. When i put the memory card in the digital display almost gets stuck and won't open so...

The camera takes SD cards up to 2GB (not SDHC cards). If you've been taking pictures using the camera's internal memory, you must first get rid of those pics. With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format" and follow the on-screen instructions. Then, insert your new card and go through the "format" routine again to prepare the new card.

My new 4g memory card will not let me use it, say memory error

Hi there!
Since this is a new memory card, the first thing that you can do is to format the memory card through the camera menu.
If that doesn't work, try another memory card. If that card doesn't show the error then your new memory card is the problem.
Hope this helps.

So i got this new Mitsuba DC500T (12.0 mega pixels) and it only saves up to four pictures then says memory full so I added a SD card of 8GB & it still has the same problem, please help.

Hi there! Make sure the SD card is not locked. There is a tiny slider on the side. If is in the "down" position, the card cannot have new files written onto it or deleted from it. Move the slide to the "up" position, then reinsert the card. You should now be able to take many, many photos.

Do u need to install a disk to transfer photo's from a memory card to your computer every year. Thank You

No. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

When I insert the sd memory card into my Mitsuba dc500t digital camera, it won't function until I remove the memory card. Any suggestions as to why this occurs and how to correct the problem so I can...

On MEMORY Card Problem, Make SURE its the SMALL Insert SD Card you are using & Not just a SD Card!
I Have same Camers & it should fix your Problem to use from 2 to 8 GB Memory.
Good Luck,

My camera doesn`t read memory card.I tried with 2

On most cameras, once you start to use the internal memory, the camera doesn't want to read a memory card. You need to go into the menu and "reset" the camera. Then, with no card in the camera, go into the menu and "format" the internal memory. Then, insert the card and "format" it. This will erase it so download any pics first.

When i put a memory card in the camera doesn't seem to work...but does when i take it out

When you take the card out, it's writing to the internal memory. You may need to reset the camera to get it to write to the memory card. Just go into the menu and find "reset"...follow the on-screen instructions. Then, remove the card, go back into the menu and find "format"...follow the instructions to erase the internal memory. Then, insert the card and all should work. From now on, don't use the internal memory.
