Question about Sony Handycam DCR-HC14E Mini DV Digital Camcorder
I am not able to connect my camcorder with my samsungs's LCD HDTV also i have lost its softwares drivers....plz help!
This manual has a good section on connecting the camera toa TV.
It should be a matter of connecting the supplied cable to the correct port on the TV. Basically a red wire to a red input a white wire to the white input and the yellow wire (video) to the video in (yellow input)
Please note that you must connect it to a composite video input (not component input) and select playback mode with the TV on the correct input setting.
For a more specific walk through post your TV's modem number and I will be more than happy to give you a step by step.
As far as the drivers for your computer, let me know what operating system you have and I will posta link to them

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

you have to install the drivers,
usually you would install the CD that came with this device first, then when you plug it in it will recognise the device.
here is a link to the manufacturer's website
I am assuming this is a VP-D361
