Question about Seagate (ST3160827AS) 160 GB Hard Drive
Hello! I need help. I have an HP pavilion laptop with windows xp os and it is not recognizing the external hardrive. Ive been in device manager and dont get all the parition and allocation business. I have tried it in three different ports. lights are on the device. My new P.C. recognized it immediately.
It worked on my newer computer, then worked on Windows XP for a while. 2nd time a little later, same problem "USB device not recognized"!1
enter device manager by type devmgmt.msc, select universal serial bus (USB), you can see what problem at USB, right click to conflict port delete the port who's conflict.
